1964 is a Nintendo 64 emulator for Microsoft Windows, written in C and released as free software. It is one of the oldest and most popular N64 emulators and has support for many of the commercial N64 games released.
1964 is one of the few Nintendo 64 emulators with built in Network Play support. Like many emulator implementations of netplay, it uses the now inactive Kaillera networking library.
1964 uses zimlar´s specifications for it´s graphics, audio, input, and RSP plugins. This means in most cases the plugins for other Zimlar Specs emulators (like Project 64) are also usable for 1964. (and vice versa)
